The Recreation Council is a not-for-profit corporation representing a recreation cooperative, which was incorporated in 1983. The mission of the Council is to promote and support quality recreation/leisure services for individuals, especially persons with disabilities. The Council works to ensure individuals with disabilities are aware of and have opportunities to participate in recreation/leisure programs, activities, and/or events offered throughout the St. Louis Area.
